Tony watch #2

My occasional blunders into Classic Gold territory of a morning are still yielding insights into the twisted mind of Mr Tony Blackburn and his descent into whichever circle of hell ex-Radio 1 DJs reside in. This morning's prime anti-Peelisms included a quip where El Blackburn exclaimed: ''We're all a bit crazy here. Sometimes we go in to Woolies and shout 'Marks and Sparks!'''.
I'm sorry, but WHAT?
However, the truly great moment came when a caller, on telling Tone and Laura that she was a contractor who looked after tropical office plants, was asked by Big T, "What's your favourite plant?". On being told he THEN asked her..."Can you eat it?".
Planet Tony, a place you like to visit, but you would NEVER want to live there...

Will do!
y'know classic gold also pays host to Luxembourg's very own Tony Prince (Prince Tony!). My amazement at the decrepitude of these icons of our yoof is, of course, tempered with a weird kind of affection. These are the voices of our coming of age etc...
Emperor Rosko, where are you?
