Just witnessed the genius that is Family Guy on BBC2 tonight. Episode entitled: 'Brian wallows and Peter's swallows'. The storylines are so complex that it would be an injustice to try and encapsulate the layers of political and social satire that occur in this Simpsons-on-crack feelgood bludgeon of absolute sense, but this episode was even better than the one where Pete punches a pregnant woman. Pete grew a beard and played mother to some rare birds; there were about 20 jokes about masturbation; and Brian's musical update on modern American history was simply priceless. I urge anyone to watch it.
